So far, the way it currently works is the following. Every month I scrape all the existing youtube channels, including those recently created. After I have a huge (tens of millions) list, I start scraping details of those channels (creation dates, subs, views etc). Once the info is collected I can easily detect channels created 1 month ago but already have 100k subs. This would mean they gained this amount of subs in that small period of time.

On the step of the evolution of the tool, I can do the same thing with channels that were created like 10 years ago but last week somehow suddenly exploded.

Vidiq most viewed works based on views per time period for a video and my tool works around subscribers gained by a channel on a certain time frame.

I did a big comparison of several youtube keyword research tools including vidiq.

Maybe, Ill make my tool 100% free access or a very small fee like 1$ or 10$ per month, also with some additional features included. At least for the first X users.

Currently im doing approximately 1500 requests to youtube per minute. It takes 160$ per month only in proxies and server resources
