YouTube Subtitles Help

Hi community

I have over 100 hours of mixed sets of music videos (videomixes), some of them over 1 hour, some others over 3 hours, and I need to get subtitles of all of them to have a Karaoke in my flat screen

To know what I am talking about, here is a short 15 minutes demo of one of my videomixes
I talk with some subtitle company and they charge between 4 to 8 dollars for minute, that's very expensive considering I need to make 100 hours of subtitles

I know that YouTube generates subtitles for free (activating the option of subtitles before uploading), but my YouTube account is blocking all my upload attempts due to copyright.

There is a lot of old accounts that upload all kind of music videos and they are not getting any restrictions on their videos

I want to ask if someone owns one of these accounts here to generate my subtitles, I can pay off course

Have you tried anything other than Youtube? It's not a Youtube-exclusive service, if you search on Google, you'll find plenty of results. There are free and paid services too.

I can't recommend anything in particular, because i haven't used any myself, but the offering is abundant.

Thank you, I have tried some but with no luck, the issue here is that videomixes are one song/video after another one and so on.. is not like get subtitles from one separate video

I see, so the main issue is that the videos are long and you can't upload them to these services? Because the mixed type content shouldn't matter for these tools, i assume.

What if you you cut the videos into multiple shorter pieces, have the subtitle generated for those, then merge the subtitles?

Ideally you would need to cut the videos in a way, that they aren't getting re-encoded, because that can lead to syncing issues after you merged the subtitles for the long video.

To cut the videos without re-encoding, you can use FFmpeg: https://superuser.com/questions/377...om-start-position-to-end-position-with-ffmpeg, but any tool can be just as good, which supports editing without re-encoding.

To merge subtitles, you can use online tools, for instance: https://subtitletools.com/merge-subtitles-online

Seems like a bit of work, but an option nevertheless.

Thank you Henybird, I have tried already to upload individual music videos and also I got restricted, I cannot upload any video because of the copyright

I believe old accounts don't have this restriction
