YouTube Statistics Updated

Hey Guys, as of today im noticing an update in the "Video Statistics" section. Instead of showing view sources / ages it now shows the time watched, amount of subscriptions driven and how many shares the video has gained. This may mean the source of views is no longer a big issue.
What are your thoughts on this?

showing retention value to the public. It's a shame if video gets millions of view but with only few days view time
