Youtube Sponsored Uploader?

Now I know this isn't blackhat, but figured I'd post it here anyways.

I go to youtube for a lot of music videos, and movie trailers. I noticed that most of the ones I watch are youtube partners or whatever they are called, and they're making money of the videos. I believe its $0.02 per view, and $0.15 per comment right? Some of these videos get hundreds of thousands of even over a million views, with thousands of comments, so that could add up to a decent amount of money.

Now I was wondering, how do they get the rights to these videos? To become a youtube partner you need to own the rights to post it there. If it's not some insanely expensive method or a procedure that likely wont get me anywhere, it seems like there is a lot of money to be made.

Now I know I'm probably thinking to simply though, and many of you probably have a reason why we can't make money like this, but anyways, I'd like to hear some information about this.

well I suggest you to read Youtube Policy before applying to this program. As far as I know you need to own the copyrights of the videos. even you can't use the copyrighted music. You need to produce your own videos and then you can promote them there on Youtube.

Yeah it is a great medium to earn money but they don't pay per view they only pays if someone clicks on an ad in the right side of your video.

I THINK Google have rights to the videos that most of us don't and when somebody becomes a partner the partner is then also allowed to display them, if its in the music category.
