Hi guys!

I have been working on a channel for last 2 months. So far, my results are 500 subs. About 190k views for last 90 days.

The niche is about facts. All on shorts. I post about 6 shorts a day. They will peak out at 400 odd views. Regardless of the engagement percentage, they will just peak between 400 -500.

I started using promotions and that’s when I did promotions. My subs jumped to 2300. But views and all are still the same.

I want to get it monetised but I just can’t do it as it seem like an impossible task to get it over 400-500 views per short.

Any solutions?

What topic do you make videos about, can you reveal?

Your shorts are getting views but seem to be capped at 400-500, which might indicate an issue with retention or audience targeting. Try experimenting with different hooks in the first few seconds and analyze your retention rates in YouTube Studio. Leveraging trends and collaborations could also help boost visibility and engagement.

Hi thanks for the reply. May I know what is collaborations?

The 400-500 view cap is a dead end, not a wall - the algorithm is testing you, oversaturation is holding you back. Shorten to 2-3 great shorts a day, work on engaging your audience, follow trends, and include longform pieces to attract YPPs faster. Promotion works well if targeted - ditch the sub-pumps in favor of real audiences.

Try making the first 2 seconds super interesting, using trending topics, and testing different video lengths. Also, ask viewers to comment and improve your titles. These small changes can help boost views.

thanks so much for all your inputs! will try out!
