Youtube "knows what inside the video" plus they do testings on similar audiences.. if the user "like" the video they keep pushing it.

I have a video with 1k views and 330 likes and 5 dislikes, uploaded 5 days ago
All views and likes was made in 3 hours in day 2 and from that moment 0 views.
All views and like in the channel are organic.
So Youtube dont keep pushing a video if ppl like that video.....

Shorts don't follow same SEO rules as regular videos. So, you don't need to optimize them for certain keywords. You need user engagement to get more views. Youtube analyzes user interests to promote videos based on user engagement.

Are users just skip the video or interacting with it? User engagement includes re-watching, watching segments of video, likes, comments, subs etc. Youtube collects a lot of data like whether the users are reading comments, clicking on related videos etc. If users like your video, they'll spend more time with it.

Why to leave them blank mate! Use them instead.
If algo uses your meta data, you will be benefitted. Otherwise also, no harm in optimizing it. Either way, it's beneficial to the channel I feel.

They don't look at just that video. THEY ANALYZE EVERY VIDEO IN THE CHANNEL and make decisions
based on that. They never quit analyzing that data.

1. Even though you upload YT shorts you must concentrate abt SEO.
2. Give Title as per the SEO
3. Also write some decent text in the Description about your shorts.
4. Give optimum Tags as well.
5. If none of the above are given, YT won't read your video.

I don't know much about Tiktok. But any video without proper information of Title and Tags how the system will recognize and how it will promote your content. So it is always suggested to have above mentioned getting it recognized by the AI's.
