Hello everyone,

I recently started a new youtube shorts channel 17 days ago, this was mainly an experiment as i didnt have a real aim other than to see if i could grow the channel. I have two other channels which are both monetised with 14k and 10k subs. For my shorts channel, i found a page on instagram which posted specific videos of cats and i uploaded these videos on my channel. I post 2/3 shorts a day.

Currently i have over 1k subs 2.2k watch hours and 200.6k views after around 2 weeks of posting, i would like advice on what i could do with this channel. Should i try long form videos, affiliate marketing, or even sell the channel?

Are you selling no mate, keep growing the YT shorts channel until you get more subscribers

Keep making shorts with the pets related and pet-related product shorts for affiliates and e-commerce-related

Don't sell now

How many subscribers your channel had when you started posting shorts? 200k views in 17 days is amazing. Do you edit/add value/transform videos you post?

The two other channels are also short based ? Are you able to complete $100 per month with shorts content ?

Thanks, the channel had no subs, brand new channel set up the day before i uploaded my first video.

I don't edit the videos, all i do is remove the meta data once i download it.

**Update** After 2 months this is how the channel looks now. I thought i would have more subs and views by now to be honest. I have a few other new channels ive tried to grow which have been doing very well so i haven't really been focused on this one.

Open to selling this channel, anyone know the best place to sell?

Have the channels started to make any revenue ? Do you get deals for sponsorships now ?

Since the niche is enterntainment you won't get much to sell it with these amounts od subs. But views are great why don't you just keep uploading and in 1 year it can be easily 100k and it takes like 5 minutes of your time per day honestly.

look at the statistics, what is the age, gender, or micro, location, time of the users, analyze carefully and promote what you think is good to continue, good luck

keep uploading more shorts videos so you get more subscribers and your "overall views authority" increases in your channel, youtube favors channels with overall views authority, so focus on shorts mainly, what you can do is also add 1 long form video a week and slowly increase it to 2-3 per week, so the channel can integrate to long form videos as well.

Goodluck.

if you already finish your experiment, you can sell it, you can definitely get some money back for your effort, or continue worknig with a new objective in mind, just that selling right now is the safe desition and continue worrking on it could be risky, if you don't have any other use for the account sell it.
