Yes google searches can give rough estimate on keywords to target.

There are several paid/free tools that you can check, such as:

1) VidIQ (paid tool)
2) TubeBuddy (paid tool)
3) PromoterKit (this website includes a YouTube Keyword Tool) - FREE TOOLS
You can find many free tools by searching on YouTube.

For your other question, you can use "bard/chatgpt". To get more prompts for chatgpt specific for YouTube, I advise you to add the Chrome extension called: AIPRM.

YT doesn't reveal search stats. Searh volume in google is not a good reference because YT is more entertainment platform.
The best place to put your KW is the title.
