YouTube SEO Help/Noob Questions

Hello everyone!,

I'm new to this forum and by reading a few dozen of posts you all seem knowledgeable regarding all the internet stuff.
So I have a few questions regarding YouTube.

I have started a YouTube channel and I do my best to upload as interesting videos as possible and I truly believe that my videos are not junk but rather interesting to watch (this might be my bias as they are my videos).
The problem is I have been receiving really low traffic to most of my videos and I don't know how to improve this how to get a bigger viewer base etc..

All info, suggestions and tried out techniques ideas are welcome!

Try changing the name to Channel Slapdicks... i'd sub to that shit.

On the real though people say your approach to rank on YT should pretty much be the same as ranking a site. To get more views, keep posting quality content, have informative and relevant description, and promote it on every social network you can. If your content is great, it will lead to higher retention views and more people commenting and sharing.
