even a niche appears to be saturated, when you post a video in that same niche and look for a way to rank it, you will see that in fact it is not saturated, but it is just an impression that it seems to be saturated, I noticed this by doing the video and analyzing the results, maybe it was just my luck, maybe just trial and error method.
 
Tubebuddy and vidIQ, these tools are keyword research tools that can estimate the search volume of a given term on YouTube. However, these tools provide estimates, and the actual search volume on YouTube may be different.

the best search volume tool is viDIQ, and It's free.
 
There are tools like tubebuddy for this. Experiment with them for some time to get used to them.

I think here also was a post on how to get vidiq premium for free but I can’t find it
