YouTube Script Writing - Does anyone have a good script?

I have been working on a personal brand from my eBay business and was starting a channel on it. I have experience with doing youtube videos before but i mostly just rambled on in front of a webcam. I want this to come off a bit more polished and am looking for a good script template for videos. I have a few things writen down such has obviously having a hook in the beginning etc..

I was looking for a complete template to work off of that had a bit better breakdown of everything you should do in a video from the first second till the ending. An example being, the hook should be 30 seconds long and should grab the viewer attention by showing something shocking. after the hook comes the intro where you quickly tell people who you are and why they should listen to you etc.

I dont even know if anyone actually has a template to that level but If anyone does and are willing to share it, that would be awesome.

this makes you authentic, with time you'll get very good at it.. for opinion/personality channels this is the best approach in my opinion.

about the script:
the subject is the most important thing.. you need to adapt: you don't need a hook if you are talking about a sports game for example, people know the subject and already hoocked.

in general the intro is what you said exactly then you devide the topic to 3 main sections.

• [#Section 1]
  • What is this section about?
  • Why does it matter?
  • Examples
  • Takeaways
• [#Section 2]
• [#Section 3]
• 
  
• [Ask for comments, subs... ]

the most important thing is don't make the video longuer just to get to 8 min.. if you have 7 min then its okay to strech it.

Thanks for the info, I am curious, why 8 minutes? I thought the extra ad threshold was 10 minutes?

Thats awesome. I didnt know they did that. I dont have a channel monetized anyways. This is going to be a fun experiment.

That is interesting but I was looking for something a bit more to a set format.
