youtube related questions

Hi. I have some questions. I read the boards and it inspired me to sign up for youtube and create a youtube video. I placed my url at the end of the video to advertise a site and a product that I own. My questions are: I clicked the option on youtube that only allows comments etc only after I have approved the comments. Do surfers know that their comments will be seen only after I approve it? I'd like to know because maybe this will scare away some who want to comment. I've read that comments boost a video's ratings on youtube. It's my product and I want to monitor the feedback comments I get...lol.
Also, I read these forums and people were recommending video submission tools such as tubemogul,video upload pro,video post robot; I'm not sure how these programs work exactly but do I need DSL or a fast connection (since video is involved) to use these programs? I'm still on dial up.

A fast connection never can hurt. I would say it's a must, but I've known a few people who made it work on dial up while getting started. There's really no reason to set it up to approve the comments. Just let them comment whatever they want. The object of this is to make it as automated as possible, and it just takes too much time to sit there and approve all the comments. After all, you want the video to go viral, and with hundreds of comments a day, you won't have the time to approve them all.

You need to make sure you have tub*e incr*easer. It works wonders. There's a thread on here about how to get it for free. It really does wonders.

Informative responses. The next step for me is to choose a software that will submit to video sites. That T*be In*crea*er that was suggested, it seems so powerful it's scary; but is it good as a long term strategy? That is the question.

yeh i use tubemogul to submit to some sites. but i agree about tube*increaser. it does wot it says on the tin and i love it lol

Interesting that you mention tubemogul because I was just on their site a few minutes ago. It seems it's a free service. Now, I'm wondering why it is free. What's in it for them?
I also checked out video upload pro, instandvideosubmitter. The prices vary from 95 dollars to 47 dollars. None of the software mention whether or not I can use them to submit videos on a dial-up modem. My videos are around 2 mb in size, so I figure I'd just start the submission process then go to sleep and then it should be done by morning.
