Youtube rankings

I've been thinking about how to best promote a video on youtube, and from reading around BHW you'll know it's a mix of retention views, likes, favourites and subscribers to your channel. I am however concerned by one thing, people sell packages for all of those - separately. Don't you think youtube is catching on that you get 5k views one way, and then 500 likes from accounts that haven't watched the video? I'd like to make a suggestion to whomever is selling views and likes etc, try experimenting with combining those services from the same accounts; or if you do that already - promote it. I'm sure you'll have an edge over everyone else..

Youtube dont have time to go in deepth with every video unless its reported.

Ok, but don't you think it's part of the automated system, part of the whole process? The same way they can pick up copyrighted stuff right away..

People who like the video will also open the video. They don't count as retention views though. But they have to view the video to like.

Thanks, that's good to know. Though now it definitely would make sense to combine both options in a package, where hopefully it would give videos an even better boost, if the subscriptions and likes came at the same time as the retention view. (plus if a video gets a 'short' view of a few seconds at the time the like is being given, it might end up getting deleted (as has been recently happening))
