Youtube rankings (backlinks vs real visits)?

I know, backlinks are always the main factor on ranking video on google.
But is they are also main factor on youtube? Because I see some 100k-200k videos with 5-6 backlinks. Can I outrank them with blasting backlinks and with 1k views?

P.S. Those videos are viral videos with real views - so people search and click on them. Thats also a factor?

Backlinks are not the only factors, you need to properly optimize your title, description and tags. And boost your video stats with some high retention views with likes and comments. Also, make sure to take care of the Social signals.

If everything done right, you would see some great improvements in your rankings.

yeah,besides on-page optimisation. I know it. I'm just curious - if there is a popular niche with a lot of volume and no optimisation,no backlinks - can't i beat them ??

I don't know why all are having interest on social signals.. why all are concentrating on fake and bot signals.. The next update by google is that only..
