Hi me and my friend have been thinking of idea's on how to get to the popular page on YouTube and I've scrolled through this website about a hundred time's getting some idea's. It seems like you guy's know about all the social media marketing, so what my plan is to make a video, and buy about 20k-30k views from a user on this website cause I've seen video's on the popular page of YouTube that have gotten 20k views in 20 hours and are on the popular page. Is there any additional information i need to do? like do i need to get comments as well and likes to get on the popular page? or is there a certain amount of views i need to get in a certain amount of time, it would be great to get some advice's thanks.

If I see a video with 20K views and zero likes and comments (especially a new video) it screams fake views. There is a good chance it will start to get lots of thumbs down from others that notice it too. Personally I try to take it slow and start with 1k per day with a few likes and comments mixed in. Search around there is a method to inject your own list of comments using u2bviews?? sites. Throw some links to your video to get it ranked on google search too to add more real views. I use tubetoolbox to message people in the niche to get them to check out the videos, a lot of times these people will leave comments. The few videos I have that were in the featured section of the sidebar had lots of comments and like activity. Make sure your descriptions are really good and reply back to people's comments. Just my .02 but I am no expert by any means.

Either use Vagex or buy some comments/likes off Fiverr.

I'm sure someone with more experience on the subject matter could give a more educated answer to your question than I can. I don't think there is a particular number per say that means your video gets featured. I am assuming it is done on a comparison basis to other related videos. If it is a search term with low traffic a video with 1k views may get featured if all other related videos only have 100 views. I am assuming youtube factors in some sort of trust factor too so that their system is not gamed. My personal account is yt partner account with no fake views and 150K legit views. I think this would be considered somewhat legit to yt so they feature some of my videos. Plus the videos that have been featured were uploaded at the early stage of the niches. I am assuming that helps play a role in the trust factors. Unless someone from yt can tell you exactly how it happens I would take others advice with caution. But I am sure someone with 1 mil channel views and 100K subs could answer your question way better than I am. This is just based off of my personal experience and I do very limited marketing on yt.
