If you have 5K real active subscribers, you have a decent chance of earning money. The biggest concern in selling t-shirt or any physical items, is the process of purchase and shipping. If I'm your subscriber who happens to live in India, I won't buy a t-shirt from you if it costs $40 and takes a month to ship to my home. This is the biggest factor you need to consider. Before you start promote your t-shirts, setup a best way to buy and ship the items. Your conversion rate will be very high.
