Hi there,

Guys, I have a YouTube channel that I no longer work on, but it already has around 350 videos and 860 subscribers. I’m thinking about finding a way to monetize it to generate some passive income.

Recently, I’ve been browsing Fiverr for ad and promotion services, as well as subscriber and watch-time packages. What’s your advice? Should I go ahead and try those services to help monetize my channel, and do they actually work?

I suggest reactivating your channel with the same topic you had before. Remember, it’s better now to focus on one type of content, either Shorts or long-form videos.

Once you start seeing activity on your new videos, you can promote your channel or website to get early engagement. I can suggest some free strategies for that. If everything goes well, you should be able to grow a solid YouTube channel, since older channels tend to get promoted faster.
 
As suggested, you should focus on natural growth and once you start natural numbers going up you can boost them
 
Most of those services use fake engagement so they rarely help and can get your channel flagged It is better to post new content or repurpose old videos and grow it naturally

I think you should rebuild your channel yourself, if the old videos are not suitable for your niche, you should gradually hide them (don't hide them all at once because it can cause your channel to be marked as spam), then create your own content. I don't highly recommend buying views and subs because sometimes people will use "blackhat ways" to attract views and subs for you.
 
Those services can hurt your channel, so try making some new videos or updating old ones and grow slowly in a natural way.

Organic growth should be your aim, as most of the services on Fiverr offer fake subscribers and fake views.
 
Those promo services rarely bring real results most use low-quality or bot traffic that can hurt monetization. Focus instead on repurposing old videos, improving SEO, and promoting through Shorts or social platforms. Real engagement always beats fake boosts.

There are very less subscribers. It is not possible to make good money with this much followers only.
 
Yeah, YT promos still work but not like they used to. The algorithm’s smarter now — spammy views or botted promos get filtered fast. If you’re buying promos, go for real traffic sources (Google Ads, niche influencers, or targeted shorts collabs). If you do it right, you’ll still see decent retention and sub growth. Otherwise, you’re just burning cash on fake engagement that doesn’t convert.:)

This is one of the quickest ways to potentially get your channel permanently banned
 
Avoid buying views or subscribers they can hurt your channel long-term and risk demonetization. Focus on organic growth: promote videos on social media, collaborate with similar creators, and optimize titles, thumbnails, and descriptions. Passive income comes slower but safer this way.

For your channel, if you want speed, you can hire a service to increase subscribers and watch hours to meet the monetization requirements. For long-term earnings, you definitely have to rely on your own ability to build and develop the channel.

If you want to monetize the channel, I’d be careful with those Fiverr services. Anything that involves buying subscribers, watch-time, or artificial engagement can put your channel at risk, since YouTube’s policies don’t allow it and BHW also doesn’t support that kind of activity.


Your best path is to focus on the assets you already have. With 350 videos and almost 900 subs, you’re already in a decent position—maybe consider refreshing the old content, improving thumbnails/titles, or posting a few new videos to revive the channel organically. You can also look into legit promotion methods like SEO optimization, niche communities, or collaborations.

You can complete the requirement with the help of these packages. But even after that you will need continuous traffic to earn from youtube.
 
You can see that the sub-increasing package on Fiverr only helps the number increase quickly, but the traffic quality is often very low, not bringing real watch-time. In my opinion, optimizing old content, re-uploading, SEO title and sharing on social to increase organic traffic is still more sustainable
