Youtube Problem ? WTF?

It's not a bug. It's their new update feature, and they also added the new section where you can see how many likes +/- the video has by going over the box near the like thumbs up/down button.

its clearly a bug. i didnt realize their 'new' system makes descriptions with links have fucked up html text.
 
And this guy has a clickable link to his site right WITHIN the video- check how he links "Click here to buy boots" right below the video.

And when asked in comments about it, he says:
"this is actually something that youtube gave us special permission to do."

In other way, it may mean he PAID youtube for that live link to his site. Does that mean the party is getting over for the easy description links we are used to?
 
YT had a subtile way to show us that this is the boot in our ass.. with the vid above
But if we change the description like traged said before, this can affect the vids in the YT search results..

Anyone else noticed you can no longer paste duplicate comments on videos, or post links for the post part, even links modified like blah(dot)com or blah(d0t)com, on top of this, a majority of things are just generally being flagged as spam - is this the end of YT promotion :o
 
yeah this is horrible if it's going to be a permanent change... I was doing alright with YT promotion as well. man they just keep shitting all over me.
 
I would find it hard to believe they would leave the code just sitting there like that, it detracts a great deal from the video to have that mess under there. All kinds of legitimate YT-ers are affected by this, including plenty that do not monetize anything. It's a shame no one can compete with YT yet...Facebook should give it a go on a much wider scale. They can afford it, and are marketer-friendly in a lot more ways.
 
And this,my friends, is the STUPIDEST thing YouTube has ever done,lol.
 
yep, sounds like a bug .. they will fix it soon.
if not, if it works in the full description, it shouldn't affect things TOO much.

should pan out though

Hi,
i have the same problem with comment spam right now :confused: I have just tried domain (.) com, domain (dot) com and some other combinations - non of them is accepted and after 4 attempts, i had to confirm my account with phone. Tried this, got the code per sms, entered it and got error message saying this service is currently not available :) thats really nice...

It appears that they have some system to auto-detect spam from (.) and (dot) comment type of messages. Even if you do a work-around that, you still cannot post the same message more than 5 times on any assortment of videos, after that, each of those comments are flagged as spam. REALLY strict spam rules it seems - hope people complain so it changes - yet it is unlikely. Time to find a new way to drive traffic...
 
youtube are in the go again for new changes and updates.. :) I always hate google when do massive updates... it really affects a lot of businesses specially blackhat.. :)
 
I'm having problems with my video even showing up at all. I did notice that no follow link thing that you guys are talking about. I noticed that the first day that uploaded my video.

But... my problem is almost like a craigslist ghosting. if I search for my video and it's nowhere to be found. But if I go directly to my channel it's there.

Has anyone else experienced this?
 
It seems like the bug it's fixed. Today all the links are clickable as supposed to be an no more <a href" ....."nofollow" shit.

Yea a few months back Ihad the problem, somrtimes it takes awhile for them to get index:D
