Hey guys, so I recently read up on a post about this guy that was doing YT+PPD for like a week, and I could relate to some of the things he was talking about, but not all. Anyways I decided to write this post so I can get some feedback/tips that were not answered from his post.

So I started YouTube + PPD a week ago as well. I signed up with Sharecash for PPD, and I recently began looking into doing Dreamcash. I created a little 25 sec. video with Animoto with some pictures, and text that took all but 5 mins to do. My niche is in Mods/Hacks/Cracks which seems to be very big as of now so there will be competition, but I have no clue what other niche is new, and upcoming to convert clicks into actual downloads.

Anyways, I use bitly to cloak the link and I insert it into the description of the video. I haven't really done any keyword searches, but from the other post people say it's very important for getting organic traffic. I use like4like to exchange some likes on the video in attempt, and hoping it would rank me higher on the YT searches. I exchanged enough credits on like4like to get 36 likes on my video (1 person decided to dislike), and 1 comment. I also inserted one of those long lists of "Extra Tags" in the description after the link to my bitly link to the download sharecash page. I have 57 views, not sure if that's useful or not, but yea.

In the end I only made $0.41 after 1 person downloaded, and had a total of 13 clicks in the whole week. I'm super frustrated because I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It also doesn't help that I'm one of those guys that if I don't see results fast or instantly I become upset and quit. That's probably why I never did to well with ClickBank selling haha. But I'm willing to deal with the frustration because I'm tired of failure, and I know I won't get very far if I don't get back up and keep trying after endless counts of failure... Anways, I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me any sort of advice or encouragement. It would really help me out alot. I'm also thinking about starting one of those daily blog thread type deals of my journey from total noob to whatever I may become in the future. Thank you guys! :D

You have to boost your videos to gain traffic. Retention views and social signals are also very important factors in YouTube video ranking. Building backlinks to the video will help it rank in Google. You can't just upload a video and throw a few likes on it and expect to make Bill Gates' pants wet. I'm surprised you even got 1 conversion.

your first attempt with a 25sec animoto video converted, that should make you happy but not contented of course. not all get conversion on their first attempt. PPD takes a lot more work than it seems, it's a constant upscaling, increasing in volume, ranking, and battle with youtube. 1 simple video wouldn't just be enough to make decent earnings, especially knowing that your niche is game crack/hacks, it's like you've only done 1% of the entire work. What were your expectations anyway?

Just create 50 or more of what you did, and add more retention views, social signals and diversified backlinks.

You need to add views and SCALE UP! Don't worry to much about that video. Just keep looking for niches and then eventually you find very good ones that make the majority of your earnings... just keep going your doing great.

I didn't really have any expectations... I knew for a fact it wasn't going to be a get rich over night type deal. But my goal as of now is to just make a simple $1/day. But, apologize for me asking since I'm a total noob but... What are "Retention Views", and "Social Signals" sorry for asking :/

that's fine but you have to realize by now that most of the time, one video wouldn't be enough to hit your target of $1/day. It could, if what you're offering to your potential leads is something that is highly sought for or exclusively from you which has lots of traffic to it. But if not, then create more videos, more videos = more traffic, but don't sacrifice quality though, everyone would have to agree that quality comes first before quantity.

About "high retention views", one factor that youtube looks for when ranking videos is the "retention views" of your videos. Let's say for example you have a 2minute video and has 100 views, 99 of the views finished your video from start to finish, you then have 99% retention view.(correct me if im wrong) Now you can get this buy purchasing from youtube views sellers here on BHW or get a vps and earn points with youtube services related sites like vagex, enhanceviews, etc.

for social signals, these are the signals that google detects on how "viral" or "popular" your website/video is on different social platforms. example of these are, facebook shares, likes, tweets, pins, etc. see addmefast.com

i hope you understand what i've explained. good luck to you and i wish you success. just keep in mind that PPD takes a lot of work, and quitting is very much tempting but the key to succeed in PPD is to not quit and keep on working and improving.

Thanks for all these tips and definition you're teaching me. But should I continue making short little videos with Animoto since they are short, and it wouldn't be too hard to get the Retention Views. Or should I make videos longer? I just signed up with Addmefast and it looks really cool :)

You are off to the right start, I am in the same niche as you and started my journey maybe 3 days ago. My best advise to you is this. Watch your video and ask yourself, would this video convince me to click that link? When you click that link, ask yourself, would I spend the time to fill out this survey? If you aren't convinced, your viewers wont be. If you have a friend that knows nothing about what you are doing show them the video and see what they have to say. Better yet, see if they click the link.

I suggest you check out my journey thread, you might learn a few things. I am always willing to help with what I can.

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-youtube-google-sharecash-skys-limit-ppd.html

NEVER EVER QUIT! KEEP PUSHING, KEEP PUSHING, KEEP PUSHING!

When you finally make that first $1 don't think about that $1, think about how much you can make if you recreate the same steps you made to make that $1. When you find a successful method, repeat the process over and over again. Keep track of everything you do, and I mean everything. There is nothing worse than finding success only to not have a clue on the exact steps taken to accomplish it.

    Hope this helps.

You need to find a niche that is hot.
You need to have good editing skills especially in making videos and landing pages.
You must convince your audience to download your file :) Good luck.

Few more things I have to ask...

1.) Should I continue with creating the little Animoto videos? Since they're short, my Retention Views will shoot up right?
2.) Should I content lock the file on a site for example WordPress with CPA?
