Good Morning Black Hatters :) I want to start this post out by saying a big thanks to all of you that contribute so much to this website, all of your combined knowledge is priceless.

So I'm relatively new here (to posting at least) I've been reading the boards for several months, but I've recently decided to take action. I have decided on several niches, I am a member of a CPA and PPD network. I have made a few videos, got them posted on youtube, but my question is this. Is it okay to just post the download link from the PPD Network in the description or should I link to a legit landing page which will then link to my file.

2nd Question: I have searched this question but it seems to be debatable. What is the best PPD Network and why. Currently I am with Sharecash. I tried FileIce but I don't believe they are accepting new members atm. Thanks for everything you guys do.

I started out by just using the download link (Tip: always shorten it using bit ly).

However when I started using a landing page my number of downloads jumped, and I also started getting some organic traffic / returning visitors.

I'd 100% recommend a download/landing page - some ideas you may want to use:

- Video of download
- Description of download
- Instructions on using the download (if required)
- Virus total scan of file
- Screenshot(s)
- Note telling the user they will be completing a survey

These are only food for thought - and your best experimenting. Another advantage of a download/landing page is that you can "Double earn" by placing adsense on the page. Depending on your PPD provider you may be able to add a "Widget" - which again is incredibly useful.

I'm currently with Clean Files and have found them very good. Like with everything in IM - try, change, try again. It's all about trial and error to see what works best for you.

Would be happy to help if you have any questions.

I hope they are incredibly obscure niches, otherwise you can enjoy being permanently flagged down by competitors.

True - you will need a few accounts /proxies. I can usually get atleast $100 per Youtube account, so it is well worth it.

Getting videos to "Stick" and become long term revenue has seemed much harder. As Youtube is owned by Google they will just nail your account if it gets flagged. Would appreciate any comments/advise from long-term PPD people on this, things I've been trying are:

- Upload "Normal" videos aswell as PPD ones (IE dog barking etc.)
- PVA accounts
- Generally try and make the account look active - add profile picture/decription, join Google Groups etc.

I've been experimenting with other video sites - such as Metacafe and Dailymotion. Problem is, there traffic is pathetic compared to Youtube and they seem to have fairly strict guidelines.

There is a tonne of money in PPD/Youtube, but it isn't smooth sailing and your competitors will try and get your videos removed.
