YouTube Playlists - Big Market

Hello !

I would like to know if there are people experimenting with YouTube playlists ?
As I have seen in the youtube search a lot of keyword like music 2017 or hit songs are occupied by playlists ranking in the top.
I have tried ranking a few playlists but the top niches are all full and it's really hard.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience with YouTube Playlist Ranking ?

YouTube is recommending adding your videos to playlists in their Creator Academy. In my experience, playlists aren't really helping that much with SEO, but they can help in sending people to other videos of yours.
