Hello,

This is my first post on BHW been looking around and it all seems a cool place to be :)
Im not new in the webmaster world but in BH i am, i understand how it all works etc tho so hopefully not ask any n00bish questions lol :P

Anyways i like the idea of using YT to pull in traffic and i was just wondering what kind of traffic (click thoughts) from the description links do you get per day against the amount of videos you have etc....
I understand that it all depends and cant give a "exact" figure...

But for example:
If you upload ~100 videos per day of movie trailers and each video will get ~100 views per day, your website link is in the description saying for example "see the full movie here hxxp://blahblah".
What click through rate approx will you see, 1%, 2% etc...? Has anyone tried this on here or do this?

Cheers guys :D

All I can say is, that days before the big YouTube change, It was very possible with the right keywords to get up to 300 visitors a day from 1 video.

Never tried it with mass uploading videos, I just optimized a few videos full.

It has everything to do with a) making people aware of the link and b) getting them to care enough to click. If you can tease them, leave them with a good cliff hanger that they WANT to see more of or learn more about and then make it very clear that the link in the description will give them what they want you can get a good 10%+ CTR.

I have had situations where 10 videos get me 1,000+ hits on my LP per day and where 100 videos get me 300...

Read the forum for tons of good tips on how to max it out.

Thanks for the replys, i know its hard but interesting to see different situations that different people have had.
