Youtube Partner program...any money it?

I have been bh marketing for about four years now and made a lot of money but never got into the youtube stuff so I need some guidance from you guys with some experience if it is worth the effort.

I have videos that get about 1k to 2k views per day but they are not really good for cpa offers so I am wondering about the youtube partner program. I assume this is where google is showing video ads at the start of the video. If so what is a average payment per view (ie. usually $.05 or $.25 or what).

Right now the videos are hosted on my own servers but if it is worth the effort I will move them to youtube but my concern is since I have no view on youtube now I am not sure they will let me in the program.

Anyone with any insight they want to share would be great.

Its AdSense essentially, so you'll get CPC on rate with those. If you have videos that go viral/are very popular you'll do well - otherwise not so much.

As for views and getting accepted you will get an invite once you upload your videos and they start getting views assuming you can get somewhat decent traffic.

I say the following as a partner:

Youtube pays via Adsense AND it's own ads.

so lets say you have a small video you just uploaded with few thousand views, you would be on adsense ads and make few dollars every thousand of views [assuming its real views, not bought]

but once the video goes popular and gets tens of thousands of views it switches to youtube ads (ads sold by youtube) so the CPC is higher and the RPM.

to put into perspective:
a video i uploaded that got 300,000 views legitimately received around 350$
a video that got around 10,000 legitimate views received around 42$


that's why partners try to buy large amounts of views because 100k can bring it quadruple the money 10k can bring in.

yea it's AdSense, as said above. From what I've seen, I'd also be weary of using my own true AdSense account, with PUB ID that's on websites on the YouTube channel, just in case...

I've seen reports of a lot of legitimate YouTube partners banned from click bombs on their YouTube accounts and they're unable to do anything about it.

Look up the doc store method, to get a 2nd account if you were interested in doing that.

If you're truly getting that many views, answer me this..

Have you received a message within that particular account from Youtube asking you if you'd like to join their "partner program?"

If not, then I'm surprised you've not been asked as of yet!

That being said, you can still apply yourself, but be WARNED...

MAKE SURE THE VIDEOS ARE ORIGINAL...meaning you made them and there's nothing in them (nudity, 3rd party music, etc., etc.,) that would violate YT's T.O.S...do that, then go apply and see what happens!

I have an account that was getting 100 views a day...got a message to join their partner program. Submitted the request and got denied because they couldn't prove I owned the material w/in the video...which I did D/L YeARS AGO from somewhere else!

To get an idea of what type of 'stuff' does well on Youtube in way of making folks some good money, head over to triple-w-dot-socialblade-dot-com-slash-youtube

Look over the top 10 YT Partners and then check out their channels. See what they're doing and try and duplicate it!

If that fails, then find a channel of someone YOU LIKE, see how many views their vids get and then head back over to SocialBlade and enter their account name in the search box at the very top of the page.

If they're a YT Partner, the site will give you 'rough estimates' as to how much they make per day/per year. If it's something you think you can easily do yourself, then start making videos with relevant content. Use similar titles/tags/description as other highly viewed vids (there's a few programs here on BHW that will do this for you) and use those to your benefit.

After a while, when you start getting a good number of views, then don't wait for an invite from YT to join their partner program....just enroll and see what happens!

If you've got the skills to create enticing videos on whatever topic(s) people want to watch, and your vids are ORIGINAL CONTENT, I don't see why you wouldn't get accepted and in the process, make some good extra money!

many people that been offerd the program got their accounts removed. the extremily strict with videos on partner programs. If you get 100s of thousands views its worth it.

I had a video that get thouzands views per daysnthey sent me a message to be yt partner before i apply to the programm the video was removed for copyright infringment !!

Guys, i dont think you realize this but allowing ads on 1 VIDEO does NOT mean you're a partner. (1 video = Individual partner program (IVP); All videos but NO BRANDING OPTIONS, THUMBNAILS ETC = Youtube monetization program (YMP); all videos AND THUMBNAILS ETC = partner)

partners get banners, thumbnails and the ability to monetize ALL their content.

Regardless if it's the IVP (individual video program) or YT Partner Program, the bottom line is still based on the content you upload and how often it's viewed!

If you upload original content and those vids get viewed A LOT, the more likely you'll get accepted. and whether it's the IVP program or YT PP (YouTube Partner Program), earning money on 1 video, or across the board....is still better then earning NO MONEY ON NONE OF YOUR VIDEOS and/or YOUR CHANNEL!

So, if you think you can or can't make money from YT...you're right either way!
