Hey guys,

I posted before about my channel's growth. I'm now getting a few networks messaging me, offering high level partnerships. The question I pose is: Should I stay a YouTube Partner or should I join a network? Which, in your own experience, earns you the most money?

Yesterday my channel had 175,000 views and 800 new subscribers. My AdSense earned just over $300. My CTR is usually around 7-8% (always above 7%) so as you can imagine my CPC is quite low. Would I make more money with a network? Will it be any more hassle to me? What is the normal criteria for a networks payments?

Thanks for any advice.

Your current CPM is $1.7
Now can you say you niches? Is it gaming?

Is CPM the same as RPM (in AdSense)?

EDIT: Never mind, I see the calculation is $300 / 175,000 x 1,000. Do networks normally pay per CPM?

The niche is comedy/entertainment.

RPM (Revenue Per 1,000 Impressions) is the same to CPM
In a network you could get more, even $3.

Only if your content is original

In my opinion don't join any network of whatsoever and stay with what you are doing. You will make things easier for yourself and no one will be able to shave any earnings...

Cheers

Network don't pay a fixed amount, they share their revenue with you, and you can get between 60% and 80% of what your videos earn with their ads.

Okay well my all time RPM on AdSense is $4.44 and I don't think a network will match that high. Thanks a lot for the advice guys.

Yesterday must have just been a bad day for clicks!
