I would be intrested in starting a youtube music promotion channel (UKF, Majest Casual etc) So:
- I pick channel name (obviously, fitting to the promoted genre)
- Time (if you want to set up a new promotion channel from 0, you have to know that it is going to be heavily time consuming)
- Time 2.0 (are you ready to invest some hours in your channel each week?)
- Soundcloud: Be sure to follow artists which fit to your desired genres, check your Soundcloud once or twice a day to see new things, be sure to check out small and upcoming artists as well
- After setting up your channel, you'll need a video editing software to create the videos
- Connections: contact producers, get in touch with them to gain more reputation and inside information
The problem is that new artists, who would even want to let me put their song on my channel (let's say im starting from 0) with 0 songs and no views, not even talking about more popular artists. How the hell would i get started? Should i just use songs without permission at first? What would be your move?
Thanks
