I'm wondering, can upload some popular videos on my Chanel just to get subs? Without monetizing The videos. I'm curios if google will ban my chanel or just get The video down?

If you are not willing to monetize means you can do it with the slight modification in audio or speed.

i would not recommend to do that if you want to play with yt for a long term, you will get 3 strikes and your channel will be banned forever and also all your gmail accounts which are connected on your browser

But why should I get a copywrite strike if i'm just uploading without any any intend of monetizing? For example, let's say i want to upload Rihanna on my Chanel, would i get my chanel terminated?

You can upload viral videos to your channel, just change their sound and maybe do a little bit of montage.

2 things can happen:
First (better) - You will get notification that owner of the content will earn on video you uploaded (win - win situation)
Second - you will get notification that owner reports your video, the video will be delated and first strike is on your account.

You can 100% get your account terminated for uploading videos that you do not own, even if your channel was created yesterday and you have no plans for monetization.
Youtube run checks for all sorts of channels and not only during the monetization process.

I would be very careful with editing sound or vid speed, yeah, it CAN help to stay away from strike but when owner finds it out, these changes help nothing
