Youtube marketing diversity

hi,

i am new to youtube marketing but i am not new to IM at general, altho i have a few questions.

What ways do you guys use to monetize youtube videos? For example, do you make a vid about specific product that you sell trough your affiliate link in the description or is it deeper then this?
Or are you using it purely to drive traffic to some blog/site? Not for direct leads..

I've seen both ways. A friend of mine makes money reviewing upcoming services and courses

it is better to make a review site and use youtube to drive traffic towards ur site by doing so you can get more sales in a long run.

CPA marketing + Content Locking is pretty good monetizing method. From your video you direct people to a content locked landing page and they need to complete offers to get it unlocked and receive the item they are looking for.
