YouTube link building query for May 2020

Do link building methods still work to boost YouTube rankings? if yes then which one is working best amongst comment backlinks, guest posting, RD, dir submission, and others? Also is there any other way apart from backlinks to help boost youtube rankings? I was doing some research and found that social shares and web 2.0 backlinks are still working out for ranking for keywords with high competition. GSA SER is working? Or any other free tool?

Link building methods will not be effective for YouTube ranking as it does to blogs. IMO Social shares is the most important thing for YouTube SEO.

If you done the basics like selecting a good niche, low competition keyword, user engaging content perfectly, you will definitely get high views.

if you want to build links I won't suggest you to do any kind of auto tools.
