Based on my reading online people are saying reused content will be hit hard the most, and there’s more I’m yet researching so brace yourself well in advance

no if your channel was approved through youtube appeal system you are actually in a safer position

Yeah, reused content looks like the main target, especially low-effort compilations or edits from public domain clips. Even borderline stuff like faceless narration over trending footage might get flagged now unless it’s paired with strong original signals (voiceover, metadata, editing style).

This update seems to be nudging creators toward either fully original or fully educational formats. It’s the hybrid reuse that’s most exposed. If your content sits in that grey zone, now’s the time to test variations before the 15th hits.

I think faceless channels are the ones that will be most affected. And there are a lot of people/channels.

they have been targeting reused content the last few updates.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing the same. Looks like Google’s cracking down harder this time.

Yeah youtube is going to crack down on low quality copy paste videos, so instead create videos that has some transformational value so even if youtube falsely flags your channel and de-monetizes your channel you can always appeal it.

YouTube’s July 15th update is brutal for reused content creators! AI generated vids and low effort compilations risk demonetization time to add unique commentary or pivot hard
