Hello there everyone! I decided I was going to start a new Youtube channel today and I haven't uploaded a video on it yet...but I will. I wanted to make this journey so others can follow along with my progress and to give advice or be given advice when needed. Here is some info and beginning stats

Niche: will remain anonymous
videos: 0
Views: 0
Subs: 0
Money earned: 0

I will not be giving away the name of my YouTube channel for purposes of privacy.

I will be posting updates every couple of days where there is progress made.

I will be using popular keywords with low competition at the start to get the ball rolling and I will not purchase any views. This is a legit channel and will grow legit. No cheating here.

Wish me luck!

Great buddy. Good luck with your journey.
What niche are you going to do videos?

Good luck with your YouTube journey. What's the video length and are you doing any on-page optimizing?

What if he has been reading as a guest or dummy account ?

Correct, If i used my other account I had made in the past, it would give away my channel! :D

Good luck with your YouTube journey. What's the video length and are you doing any on-page optimizing?

1. ~20 minutes
2. I am doing keyword research and am using VidIQ to do that. does that count as on-page optimization?

Are you using any TE?

I don't understand what TE is???

@Ayipio - Here are some Tips on Onpage YouTube Video Optimization:

1. Video Filename: Should include your target keyword. But also include a word before or after so it doesn’t look like keyword-stuffing. For example, YouTube_Funny_Video.mp4.

2.Video Title: Make sure your keyword is at the beginning of your title. If possible start your video title off with your target keyword. For example, if your keyword was “weight loss”, your video title should be something like: Weight Loss Tips: 5 Ways to Drop Extra Pounds.

3. Description: When most people upload a video to YouTube, they mindlessly toss a few words into the description box. That’s a HUGE mistake. Remember that Google can’t watch or listen to your video content.

Instead, they rely on your video’s text-based title and description to determine what your video is about. So give them enough information by writing a 200+-word description that includes your keyword 3-4 times.

4. Tags: Just include your keyword as your first tag and a few related keywords as tags.
