YouTube: Is This Safe to Do???

Hey Guys,

Recently i have stared a website that is a "longterm project".

In order to get some web 2.0s and some traffic, i ripped like 300 videos from another channel and posted them as my own (different titles on my channel). Than i put my websites url in the description.

Just curious.. if anything happens with my channel (banned, videos deleted, matched third party content) will there be any repercussions to my website?

unless someone from g00gl3 actually sees your videos and decides to look further into the issue you're fine... I'm guessing you're fine even if that happens because it could come off as a neg-rep attempt

I very much doubt it, I have done the same with a few of my websites, never had a problem with them or the channel getting banned.

na i think you are good. I've had many videos banned and my site is still rising at a constantly but slow rate. But if you want to be safe, just link the vids to a landing page

To hang on to videos, you could try to do your search and then with advanced search choose creative commons videos and see what comes up related to what you are doing. Then you can use those as far as I know with no re-percussion's. I have used this a little on my own channel.

Do you find this to be helpful for ranking? uploading a bunch of videos that may be taken down?
