Dont think So as I usually see everyone saying the videos gets deleted within an hour.

It does but in a weird way where it ends up going down in a matter of hours. I need to experiment more to figure out how to stay #1. It works for unique keywords

It works, but don't expect to invest in video 0.50$ and make 100$ in return.

Unlisted Method dead long back. Doesn't work at-least for me.

Those who say it's dead just don't want you to try or have no idea what they are talking about. Seriously though you took the time to open the thread and ask while you could have spend that time trying if it works or not, it just takes 1-2 days max to observe the results.
