Youtube Help? (Very New Started Yesterday)

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could share some tips and tricks on acquire more views?
I started my youtube yesterday (A Niche I can post daily) and posted my first video.
I was able to be the 2nd video on the first page (beating out people with 88k subs and all that) and now 5 hours later I'm still 2-4 videos in the top first page but I don't have any views.
My thumbnail is better than 90% of peoples because they just use their video as their default image while mines pretty bright and engaging so I'm not sure what actions I could do?

My vid IQ score is 45/100 (Which I know I can work more on which I will.)
and I know this is the first video and if I do more it'll start organically coming but should I do more social media or?

I guess my main confusion is I had 170 impressions but only 1.2% CTR
Anyways even if I get told to fuck off thanks for reading and any help will be appreciated.

What do you mean? You posted a video and it ended up on the first page of youtube search in your niche search and youre not getting any views?

First of all, I'd wait about a week before judging how good the video is doing in terms of traffic.
Secondly, if you are number 2 for a keyword and you are not getting consistent views - it just means that not a lot of people search for this keyword on Youtube.

Keyword research on Youtube is not very easy (as you don't have fixed search numbers like Google), but it still can be done and can be specialised. There are plenty of relevant resources online.
 
I managed to rank a keyword that according to vidlq had an average of 80,000 monthly searches and I didn't get any visualization, so I believe that this number is not accurate.
even if someone knows a keyword search engine for youtube, can you recommend me please.

There is no source that can give you accurate numbers for searches on Youtube. There are tools that can give estimates, but mostly what you are doing is comparing multiple potential keywords to find the one with the bigger volume.

Share your video on different social media networks and ask your friends to do same
 
When you test how well your video is ranked you do it with the browser in incognito mode, correct? Also you can't expect for your first video to get recommended with a new channel, try posting 2-3 videos a week for a month and then see if anything gets traction. Depending on your niche it could even take longer. Sharing your videos in places that might have interest also helps, of course. Be consistent and good luck!
 
Click through rate, watch time. And viewer retention is what your after. Obviously video/channel optimization too
 
Post 30 to 60 consecutive days and after that you can see what you're doing wrong or what you're doing right. It's too early to make any assumption.
 
Thank you all you're all completely right I'm being impatient about it all when I need to do a steady marathon and not just a race. I'm going to revamp some things. One thing I realized I did stupidly was not the icognito mode as someone suggested lol damn I'm too new but I'm going to spend the week revamping go HAM for a month and then return to you all with hopefully more insight.
