Hi everyone,

So, I will keep this short.

Some people can stoop so low to bring others videos down.

There is a guy in my niche who has hundreds or maybe even thousands of Youtube accounts on the same Tech niche. But whenever my videos reach to the top, he is sending huge amount of fake views to my videos to bring them down, even though I have only 1 account & only uploading 1 video at a time.

He's sending 15-20k+ views on every videos I am uploading & the source of views are showing External & Twitter. My videos used to barely get 500-1000 views before he started doing this, but since I use low-comp keywords, my videos used to stay within 1-5 positions.

Me & he promote almost the same affiliate products but I have a small channel & only 1 channel but he has hundreds of channels with different identities & also he has thousands of videos to promote, but still he's doing this for each one of my videos.

All my videos are de-ranking, because of these crappy views which does not have any engagements along-with it.

Is there any way to get rid of this issue?? I don't have huge budget like him, so I can't do the same on his videos & also if I do the same, then what will be the difference between this ass**hole & me.

No Views from any SMM panel also working for me. Tried a lot of them, they only ruined the rankings of my videos, otherwise after my videos getting de-ranked, I could use a panel.

P.S. Please don't ask for my channel/video link. I just wanted to share.

you cant do shit about it.
but i am still curious how can people make video for affiliate product i still struggle to come up with even even one because i dont know how to make it

Use aged Youtube channel with authority.
I have bought a few aged accounts from 2006 but they don't have any activity on them since a long time.. Like 1-2 videos uploaded in 2006, 2007 etc & nothing after that. I think those channels are no better than new channels..

Could you Please tell me (or message me if you can't write here) the names of the sites/services which provides aged YT accounts with authority??

Thank You...

@everyone, Yes I also think I can't do a damn thing about it & YT will keep pushing my videos down thinking I am buying these crappy views for my videos.

how can you tell hos traffic? and if you can report it.
Sorry for asking but what is a "hos" traffic?? I don't think, there's any option to report fake views, as I don't have proof of who's doing it.

Collaborating with other creators in your niche can provide mutual benefits and raise your exposure. Partnering with reputable channels can assist in counterbalancing the negative impact of fake views.

Report his channels, if he is breaking YouTube TOS he will get banned eventually but other than that it's very hard to punish his behavior without spending money on some BH tactics.

I don't think there is any provision in Youtube for reporting fake views.. Plus like I mentioned earlier, I don't have any proof & neither I can prove it to Youtube that, those views are being bought by him & not by me.

I was even searching to find a way to bring his channels down in any BH way possible, but I don't think that's even possible & I may end up losing huge money paying scammers who will claim to shut his channels down.

Everyone is competitors here as we are all promoting kinda same affiliate products, so not sure how that will work out...I tried emailing couple of them but they didn't bother to respond. :(

I don't mean to report for fake views but report his channel if he is breaking some TOS with this videos. For example promoting a product that is misleading users, etc.

Firstly, we need to understand and also accept the reality that what we may consider as unethical, may not be unethical as per YouTube's T&Cs.
These big tech companies consider what is ethical or unethical, as per their whims and fancies (as per how certain "winds" are blowing).
Internet marketing (ranking on search engines, ranking on YouTube, etc), as we all already know, has NOWADAYS become quite badass and as we all already know, will keep on being more and more badass, on an ongoing basis. In other words, people with badass (blackhat) strategies rank on search engines, YouTube, etc.
Today, I read somewhere : "If you can't beat them, then join them". Perhaps, may be ....

Although, you may not be able to do much but you can report at least

there is literally nothing you can do other than using different less profitable keywords and hope that it slides under his radar. They don't want competition. All you can do is congratulate them for scaling so hard and maybe try to learn something from them

You can report this to YouTube, they’ll just whitelist your channel so no matter how many bots hit you, nothing happens.

Any channel with more than 3 million-view videos gets this treatment I’d say. it comes with the territory, but YouTube selectively chooses by hand who survives and who dies so make sure your nose is clean because they’ll be assessing whether they want you to stay on the platform or not.

You can make the best content on earth but if whoever is in charge assess your channel and they don’t like you as a person, you’re done. It’s ridiculous that’s how it works but I just got done dealing with this.

Click on the "don't embed" option when uploading videos. This should solve your problem.
I did that now for a new video which I just uploaded few minutes ago & it already got over 14k views, see the attached screenshot... I will try doing that for all my future videos but are you sure, that it will solve the issue of fake views??

I will keep you updated anyways. Thank you... The external view sources for all these fake views are showing as coming from Twitter.
