I was just wondering, for people that actually do real content and only need a tiny little bit of socials enhancings. I'm having great results targeting people with follow unfollow method and message sending on Insta. Mostly because its a very small niche and reaching exactly the right people is enough to start making videoart for other people (there is a high demand of what I do but only in a hyper specific niche). So I thought why not doing the same on Youtube? The goal would be to have already a fanbase from the very beginning and slowly start other methods for more reach. Realness is key here I don't want that the scene thinks I buy fake views.

If you mean you subscribe to get them to subscribe back, I had bad experience with this some years ago. But maybe things have changed now?
but did you have a sofisticated art project where average people that see your content get excited when you follow them?

Mate don't do fake stuff. It won't help you in the long run. If you want to stay longer on YT, go organic way. Initially it might be difficult, but later on you wont regret.
