No, some of them have really high competition. Google looks at the file title, file rating, file tags... and then after looks at the youtube video title, description, and tags... so if you can fill all of those with the targetted long tail; you will beat most competition.

I am not spamming. I promise.

Almost 24 hours now since uploading 2 videos, the videos are indexed and showing up in YouTube's 24 hour search. One of the videos is showing up in the 1 week recent search, the other one is not.

It seems like one of the videos was ghosted/flagged as spam, because it is not showing up anywhere outside of the 24 hour search for any of the long tail low competition keywords. I am finding lots of unrelated low quality videos, but I get to the end of the results and my video was nowhere. It could just be delayed in indexing, I am not a YouTube expert.

The other video is actually doing OK ranking #1 in the 1 week recent search for 1 of the long tail low competition keywords, but is also not appearing for some of the others at all. I think another few days will be needed for maximum results.

So, nothing conclusive right now for results!

OK, over 48 hours now. It looks like I am ranked for most of the keywords, but not high at all. Many completely unrelated videos with 1 keyword similar are ranking way above me. So, I didn't see this method hurting me compared to other videos I uploaded, but I also don't see it helping me. Have some changes I can try in the way I write description and title and compare the videos that are ranking ahead of me, and will try again.

I just analysed the main keyword and it is zero search, zero competition so that is why you were able to rank so easily.

Do you need to buy views also to rank ?
