i heard that the problem is that you need a minimum amount of views / month, otherwise it doesnt work - but im not sure.

Is it true that you have to have a minimum subscribers -I heard 1000- so that you could use the fan finder option?

SO what is the usage?

I added 5 of my YT videos to fan finder, but I am not sure if it works or not, I can't see a remarkable difference...!

It works but it will bring you just a minor amout of views. My friends reporting that it's like 2-3 thousands per 1 million which is really not much and not worth to care about.
