I uploaded a couple of videos from a known cable news site and have gotten a lot of hits on both vids. I've seen a few other partners run ads on these same two videos on Youtube. I'm wondering if YT considers news clips "fair use" and allows them to be uploaded and used for revenue sharing. Does anyone know about news videos specifically?

You could claim it's under Fair Use > Educational value. But keep in mind that if you don't fully understand what you're doing, you could be sued, for a lot.
