I was reading a thread and somebody said i use free websites to engage on youtube and i'm confused what does he means? could you guys tell me?

He probably means website where you engage with other user's videos and collect points, then you spend those points to get engagement back on your videos

Embed your videos in free sites? Refer to them via profile links?

Neither will do much for YT ranking though.

Could be like a referral scheme? Where website gets hits and also makes money from YouTube hits?
