I was just getting started on doing some YouTube spamming and YouTube is now disabling links in the description box!

They are asking for various authentication methods to allow for links to be displayed.

Anybody else experiencing this, and is there any solution besides doing the verification?

Thanks!

It is only for new accounts. I do not see any problem while adding links.

Well yea its a new feature of youtube for new accounts and its very anoying for me also ,i think you need to have patience and wait for your account to get old or maybe you can buy some old account from the marketplace

When you'll try to manipulate the things excessively, be prepared for the outcome as well. That's how social media works nowadays.

They did it because you were spamming. You IP might had got blacklisted.

I tried myself accounts from 2016 and they still ask for ID verification. They were stagnant accounts.

I don't know if they have other means to throw that filter except account age... maybe account activity history or some sort of trust level...

They mostly look at account activity, like how many videos you liked and how many hours you watched. You should always warm up the account before using it, account age isn't that important these days.

Hi,
YouTube no longer allows clickable video descriptions. Video description links don't go to other sites or purchases. Video or comment links. YouTube does this to stop spam and fake news. External link promoters will be affected. End screens and video links still advertise and attract traffic.
Thank you

Yes. It's not only about the aged. it's about cookies and history and user behavior on YouTube.

You should use multiple channels for spamming. This way youtube will not be able to catch you. When you do on single channel, many people notice this and report it to youtube.

You need Advanced features enabled to be able to post links in description. You activate them either by building channel history (warming it up and uploading videos) or by verifying with an ID (not recommended)

What authentication do they ask ? Is it simple captcha ?

No issues for older accounts with clean comment history
Experiment with bot accounts

Yes, same for me. I can't put a description without verification. I need a youtube channel account fully verified. Who sell that?
