Pros of cpa:
1) Doesn't require much from the user
2) Can be used as a gateway to unlock content being searched for.
3) Good pay out in relation to end user effort required.
4) Usually high quality website design.

Cons of cpa:
1) You need to be accepted into a network.
2) Legitimate ways of earning with it have a low epc & conversion rate.
3) Shaving/Scrubbing.
4) Usually leads to spam of a persons email.
5) Limited to certain regions

Pros of Clickbank:
1) Videos are about products and will most likely stick.
2) Can set and forget without ever having to check back.
3) No approval required, Auto accept.
4) Recurring payments
5) Never heard of scrubbing/shaving here(Correct me if I'm wrong)
6) Worldwide

Cons of Clickbank:
1) Requires user to make a purchase.
2) Videos need good call to action to get a sale.
3) Can be harder to promote.
4) Refunds
5) Conversion rate is generally less than with CPA

Additions to the lists above are welcome.

Just trying to use this thread as a way to help people decide which they would rather do because it seems this section is just all about CPA. The exact same methods used to promote a CPA offer can be used to promote a CB offers.

I use CPA, because I don't think too many people are on YouTube looking to buy stuff.

I disagree with the above statement - I had a video generate $2k/day in sales.

I tip my hat to you USPK!

Sure people go to youtube to buy things! Well maybe not directly, but to check out reviews and etc! Not only that, but maybe the user google search a product and YT results come up. That would be a plus!

Last august was my best month ever since I started doing IM . I was close to reach 4 figures with youtube + clickbank.

I tried a few months ago CPA. Hard to pass the approval process even after showing my earnings to some companies. Got approved only in one. Shaving like hell. Bad experience at all.
If you know how to promote things, clickbank is the place to be. At least you are 100% sure they do not steal your hard work and money.

I disagree with the above statement - I had a video generate $2k/day in sales.

Dafaq, that's 60k USD monthly from a single video.

If you don't mind me asking, did you captured the leads or just redirect the users to the merchant landing page? How many views did the video get per day?

thanks for creating this thread.. just switched ON a bulb in my head for one new method which i didn't tried yet.. thanks a lot. :)

Choose ClickBank. It may seem harder sometimes but if you learn ClickBank, you really learn to sell, which is the most important ability.

@USProxyKing and @stallion45d

Are the videos you're creating "face to face" videos reviewing the product, a voice over showing the product or just a clever "psychological triggered" slideshow??

Congratulations to both of you by the way. Anyone making more than $1,000 a month with Youtube gets my full attention. I myself have found to have more success with Amazon. Right now I'm in the $1,000+ zone only using Youtube + Amazon (no landing page or squeeze page, straight to the product page)

I'm posting this like 9 days after the last post but hopefully you guys are still keeping an eye on this thread. THANKS!

I am doing Youtube + CPA - comment rater method.
I am planning to do the same with CB products. Top comments on related videos sending them directly to merchant landing page, or to create a video. So the main traffic will be through comment rater. Will i get banned from CB for spam? it's against their policy or they don't care how the traffic is bring ?

I've tried both methods and Youtube + CB works better for me.
