Hey guys,

Is it okay if a copy somebody's youtube video script and than paraphased it a little bit and used it for my video in a different language ?

Will that video rank ?

Yes, doing that and it's working without a problem. You just need good thumbnail, new title and description. I use the script 100% the same, just translated in 2 languages and doing good.

I was thinking about that as well, I saw some channels with the same thing, same video, etc... but different languages. I don't know if they have the same owner

Shouldn't have any issues. Is it completely legal? No. But the owner of the video and YouTube will probably never find out. Only issue is that you might get called out if you're stealing from rather known channels.
