YouTube Content ID distributors?

I'm wondering if that's how TuneCore shut me off I kept using the same few songs. I had about 6-7 songs I was attached to copyright videos that were getting high amounts of viewership.

I'm still with DistroKid so I feel like I will get caught up any minute now.

That's exactly where my hang-up is right now is trying to figure out the best option and how setup my own record label.

sometimes there could be foul play behind the scenes, one of my accounts that got inactive from freedom network has this type of issue. Basically my content is still monetized by them even though they have already removed me from their platform, this happened on other MCN network I joined as well. You can easily get screwed by them so be careful who you’re trusting your contents with.

They don’t give a damn about your content, they just care that your contents are making money for them on youtube, maybe why share the money with content creator if they can get them all for themselves.

Just check around with your contents that got removed by them, they could still be monetized by them or switch hand to another artist claiming that content is their work.

I don't know, but if you have a huge database of songs, that might get you past YouTube. I only had two songs and when I tried adding more, that's when YouTube messaged Audiam. My mistake was not diversifying in the first place and not having a lot of music. If I had a huge catalog of songs, maybe I wouldn't have been caught.

I've searched everywhere for an answer. It seems like if YouTube catches you, they will send a message to the distributor and the distributor has no choice but to take you down. Audiam was really good to me while it lasted. Plus, Audiam has an option where you can add one YouTube channel and receive 100% revenue from it, so Audiam doesn't take any cut from that channel.

Maybe the only option is to essentially set up your own record label and deal with YouTube directly? I don't know. I wish I had an answer, because it really sucks losing out on that money.
I have gone through the same path and still got whacked.

Basically I had all of my contents reuploaded on other channels, I use service like fiverr where I ask channel owners to upload creative contents with my songs on their channel and keep them live for months

This was my effort in distributing my music on YouTube, but it didn’t work.

So, you know either way you’d get issues from them, I think you just have to build your channel big enough for them to consider you a cash cow before this issue start to disappear, but of course new type of issues will appear too lol

I hate Freedom so much, I remember them doing me dirty way back in 2014 where I made close to $10k in a month and they held every penny from me after they let me go. That was the one MCN, I really got screwed by the most and I've never forgiven them for that shit. I heard they got terminated by YouTube as they're no longer partnered with them. I'm not sure if that's still the case as I last heard about this back in the spring but I hope they're still not associated with YouTube but the owners probably have a new MCN now.

It's very true that you got to be careful out here with your content and who handles it.

The only thing I usually ever wanted out of MCNs was just to pay me on-time and protect me a little bit from YouTube but they definitely don't do the second part at all.

Exactly, what if another content creator is using the copy claim music on our music? They have no way to know so YouTube is really stupid for punishing people for using this method.

This is why for the most part, I'm going back to AdSense and figuring out different methods to monetize. Content ID is not paying enough to deal with that stress.

How good does AdRev pay? Do they pay just as good as AdSense?
i guess Youtube knows that it makes NO SENSE for someone to keep uploading music with copyright claim on it and to be satisfied with it.

it must be some sort of connection between the youtube channel and the music claimed by content ID...

why i would keep uploading music with someones i dont know Copy claim id?

but yeah it is what it is

Audiam, Distrokid, amuse, tunecore, all these distributors freeze my account, Now I am using HolaTune, it works great for me, I have compilation channels and works fine, you need to use long part of your music in your video and it works 100% on holatune, therefore it is not good for music channel because you cant use 2 min outro music, but if you have compilation long videos channel, you can use HolaTune ,

Nothing new from DistroKid as they're still holding my money from January so those dudes are some cons. They're lucky I don't have enough money to hire a lawyer to sue them but in the future, I will do it to prove they messed with the wrong person.

Have you tried adrev?

I am using them for 2-3 years now, they pay quarterly tho…

can also advice Distrokid for sure
How can I register for current adrev? Can you give me the gmail of the fastest support person?
