Youtube comments auto deleted

Is anyone able to share some insight into why YouTube is auto-deleting my comments? I've added maybe 10 comments in the last hour, all different and on topic but only one has not been deleted. my comments do contain some subtle advertising but the one they have allowed does as well.


A little update. I've managed to get 4 consecutive comments to stick. It seems when I mention my domain name (no URL just the name) in the first line of the comment they are instantly removed.

Have you posted them all from the same IP? Do you comments contain URLs?
 
YouTube has become insanely good with detecting spam. You just need to keep tweaking the comments and/or get ideas from other recent spam comments and test over and over.

From the same IP yes. No they don't contain URLs.. I thought maybe they were blocking me for spamming but it was my 7th comment that has been allowed. experimenting with my text now to see if I can get anything to stick.

currently doing that tweaking my text. I've seen some comments which are clearly pushing URLs and it seems obvious, some how they are getting through.

Tactfully "blend in" a domain name (not url) in your comments somewhere in the middle (central part) of the comment and make each comment unique (not like a copy/paste).

From what I see the domain extension also plays a major role. I assume the comments you see that are posted by others use an extension that is an actual word for example .bar or .homes etc.

I'm working with around 30 phrases which I am randomly adding to the beginning or end of my comments (Middle content is always unique) but results are not always consistent. :/ more trial and error I guess. I've managed to get a few to stick I wondered if things like watch time play a role :/

Were you trying to drive traffic to you website? How would you do that if you cannot post the url in the comments?

yeah the aim is to divert traffic but without posting the URL like ClickMeForBoobs:eek:com

To get around this I use a branded domain so no need to add .com

It also filters truly interested people since they are the ones who would bother to type in the name into Google

Solves several problems at once
 
Im not even sure if its detecting advertisements, i got into a youtube argument with some scrub, my replies weren't even being posted, i copied my reply before posting, i checked network, it returned 200 OK, refreshed the page, opened the page incognito, no sign of my comment, so not so sure what thats about

I don't have to use proxies since I don't mass blast comments

I make sure the comments are RELEVANT and add value

Also the mention of the branded domain serves to act as a resource

This takes more time but doesn't result in bans/deletions

Also, gotten sales from this technique
 
You cannot spam YouTube with domain names. If you want to do this, use very good quality accounts or buy from an experienced seller.
