I've posted a few hundred comments and i've been checking them with proxies different than the IP they were posted with and I've probably posted 500 successful comments and about 90% of them are sticking. But I am seeing almost NO response at all. All my comments look pretty legit and look like real people. Has YT just pretty much made this method alot less useful by putting the comments below the fold.
Is anyone sucessfully posting and getting a good amount of traffic still?

    Just an update:

I still have not had 1 click. And I have stuck about 250 comments in the last hour. Checked random ones from proxies and different accounts.

Maybe it is just the time of day I am posting the comments. Or maybe traffic from comments is total crap now.

Something is really strange. A comment used to bring in like 5 hits to my gateway not too long ago (2 weeks ago). And now I can't get one bloody click.

So it seems that Youtube commenting has become unreliable...

Seems like everyone favors quality content these days... ;)

I am not having any trouble, are you comments posted manually or automated?

Auto commenter. I've done over 500 today with 17 clicks. And my site is optimized and look really good and has a custom gateway. I think users are just not used to the new Youtube yet or something.

I remember about 2 weeks ago you were saying you were posting tons of comments per day, from 20 accounts/20 proxies.

    What happened since then?

    Im still commenting as before.

But the comments are not "viewable" becouse you have to "thumbs up" those ..

Especially if you post in high viewed videos, there is plenty of commenters who have alot of thumbs up already, and therefore your newly made comments stay "hidden" .. im working on a solution for this with my bot creator.

Wait I'm confused...since when does your comment have to be thumbs-upped to be viewable?? I see tons of comments on videos that are not at all?

If you are that good at commenting on YT. Give us some advice then.

Something is happening with YT since 2-3 weeks ago.
And yes my traffic are as low as 25% as before now. :/

My only advice is highly spun comments, and many, many unique links.

I am pretty good at commenting (as I'm sure you are to)...but yes, the last 2-3 weeks SOMETHING has changed because I sure as hell am not posting like I used to. I've been avoiding hopping onto facebook and doing my advertising on there but Youtube has been a good source of cash til like you said, the past 2-3 weeks.

Personally, I think some rate limiting is taking place. When I've been using my bot, it will post about 4 or 5 good comments per IP, then I will get errors for a few comments, then itll go back to working again. And I know this isn't an issue with the bot,but youtube itself and the way it is now being super nazis against comment spam.

There are some tips I can't share publicly...sorry

I remember 2 years ago, a single comment on a popular video would get me over 100 uvs. It's all been down hill from there due to a number of reasons. Two of the biggest reasons are viewers are less likely to see the most recent comment since uploader comments and highest rated ones appear first, therefore 95% of the viewers have no intention to scroll down and see your comment. And secondly (assuming that the OP has a movie site since he mentions gateway), the majority of youtube users have already been exposed to movie sites behind gateways via comments so they don't even bother to follow your link. Which is why youtube traffic has dropped by like 90%
