YouTube comment likes ranking and getting traffic

I want to try setting up a YouTube page specific to one cpa offer with a video promoting it, then commenting on say 1000 top videos and getting likes on those comments to rank it high. The comments won’t contain website links but I’m hoping with so much views on the comment enough people will click through to the channel and see the video. Has anyone tried this? What results did you get?
