Youtube Channel Monetization Checker

Perhaps this is data from cache) VidIQ also doesn't show whether a channel is monetized.

What does cache have to do with this? As mentioned VidIQ just added this feature lately (like few months ago) and it read this info straight from the page source.

Here is an example of demonetised channel:

EDIT: I am on their Boost plan maybe this feature isn't available on the free version.

I meant the browser cache) That was an assumption) YouTube has removed the display of monetization status in the channel page code... This means that services cannot currently correctly display the monetization status of a channel... And if VidIQ is now showing that there is monetization on the channel, then these data are 'outdated', possibly from the browser cache.

Here's a channel that definitely has monetization)

They have patched the source code it seems, I no longer see the "is_monetization_enabled" code. So how do we see if a channel is monetized now?
This doesn't work anymore

The system is currently active and operational. Ytlarge displays the monetization status of channels and videos.

A couple of friends have mentioned it. Under normal circumstances, YouTube has removed the display of monetization status in the channel page code. Yes, that's correct. Therefore, currently, no plugin or site, except for ytlarge, can show the monetization status of the channel. Everything else is in a garbage state.

This site doesn't work, I've tried 10 channels that are demonetized and it claims it's monetized.

Open any video of channel.
Go to page source of that video.
Search for " yt_ad "

If its value shows 1 then channel is monetized.

This is not entirely correct.

The inclusion of "yt_ad" in a webpage's code doesn't necessarily indicate that the video's owner is monetizing it. This is because, since November 2020, YouTube has been implementing advertising on videos and channels that are not monetized by their owners.

But it can be quite useful if you consider several factors... I would look for the presence of 1000 subscribers and the presence of 'value':'1' in several videos on the channel.

We are looking for and implementing more details, don't worry.

Idea:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/is-there-a-way-to-get-a-list-of-videos-that-have-ads.1563388/basically enter channel, and list all videos showing if they have yt_ad or not. while not 100% accurate, this would be useful. if many are monetized, then this may or not mean that the channel is monetized, because content id also shows ads on non monetized channels, or youtube itself can show ads, so how can we know? but at least, it would be better than going video per video to check yt_ad

We examine whether there are ads in the video, or even how many ads there are, and in which seconds, and more details.

But you have to check video by video which takes forever. Would be good to enter a channel url and have a list of all videos and say if it has yt_ad or not.

Although the tool does not check all of the videos, it checks 60% of them.
