Youtube channel is not growing

I suggest try to make thumbnails more attractive, use tags, titles and descriptions correctly. Also engage with your audience, reply to comments and ask for likes and shares. It can help you to get more impressions on youtube.

if the ctr is good but it lacks views, then it must be about the video itself - it is not engaging enough. it must have very low average watch time. work on the hook. first 5-10 seconds must be really catchy.

I’ve been through the same. CTR is solid, but YouTube also cares a lot about watch time and how long people stay after clicking. If viewers drop off early, they won’t push the video much. Try focusing on hooking people in the first 30 seconds that made a big difference for me.

Any one have any idea o how to get impressions on youtube I have 42% ctr but youtube is not giving me impressions. Please share your honest experience
the youtube forum might have better answers, but since youre here let's answer your question. Why not try exploring different contents or topics that goes well with the trends?

Growing a YouTube channel depends on many factors like SEO, average view duration, engagement and lot more. Focus on finding where the problem is.
I search keywords on semrush before writing scripts, but what else should I do? Do you have any advice to give me?

With YouTube: consistency is key. and 3 major factors are important to take care of.

1. watch time
2. CTR
3. Interaction (likes, comments, shares, subs)

Start producing longer videos to boost your watch time, make sure you get some comment chains too.
The watch time and interaction will help to increase impressions. It's not guaranteed on the first video.
For new channels I recommend using Reddit, x.com, discord groups, Pinterest and create backlinks / promote your fresh videos.

Sure
getting bot views on your channel limit the impressions percentage unlike posting with real search views with opportunity to generate real traffics/views and impressions.
So i should not?

On YouTube, it seems like everything is algorithmic. I did a test. My friend and I have two different channels, we upload the same thing there +-, thumbnail +-, and at the same time of the video, even the same song at the beginning, and he got 100k views, and I got 8k views.

why ? i think because his channel is older and gets more views before

Is your YouTube account new or old? How long has it been around? Has the account been warned or violated in the past?
3 months old account and no warnings or violations.
