Hey guys. as the title says, one of my youtube channel seems to get invaded by people that pump fake views and all into my videos.

Will this affect my channel reach in the future if they keep continue doing so? If anyone had this experience, how do u go around with this?

How did you come to the conclusion that people are sending fake views to your videos? What thing was unusual in the screenshots?

It's normal for Shorts to surge in viewer count.

Yeah, it is quite normal to see such steep graph initially that goes flat afterwards. This is how shorts tend to perform. That's why I asked OP what unnatural he observed in the graph?

Sorry if I didn't include in the post.
But I have been getting some weird YouTube search Terms like "Smash badminton tutorial", "lankybox roblox" when my niche is far from where it is.

Oh is it normal to have a boost then no reach at all?

Yeah, that happens to almost everyone. YouTube are testing your videos with a group of people and if they respond well then they might push the videos to more people, but if they don't, they will stop sharing your videos. For the random search terms, you might have not optimized the SEO of your videos properly.

Oh alright. Thanks for the info!!

If you have been running ads or promoting your channel, then it's normal. How is the engagement on the videos?

Youtube placed those videos in search based on the user's watch history this is normal

I didn't run any ads on the channel. Plus the engagement has been pretty stagnant to be honest.

Is it getting lot of organic views also. If it is getting organic views, it will balance the fake views and channel will not be affected.
