Hi all,

I would like to know if it helps with ranking if I upload videos from a join date of 2009 instead of 2015.
I have big cometition but see that most join dates are from the past 2 years.

imo, channel age also matters to build authority channel easily! Means if you start working with aged channel, you get one positive factor to build channel authority.

I think the total number of videos matters more than the age of the account. However, older accounts often have time to build up a larger number of videos. That might be why older accounts might seem to be favored.
